With over one hundred years of experience as manufacturers of heat exchangers and plants for thermal processing, we continue to have a major influence on the technology of evaporation. In processing liquids with suspended solids, Schmidt technology has made major contributions to the state of the art. Our rising film plate evaporators have the shortest residence time of any plate evaporator which is critical for any product that is sensitive to time and temperature.

API Heat Transfer designs, manufactures and installs complete turnkey plants for many different feed streams, taking into account their inherent product characteristics.
In close cooperation with our customers, we develop the most appropriate process for the product to be treated. When required, we also act as an engineering partner and manage the overall technical design of the plant.
